Does your son or daughter love robotics or inventing? Then perhaps they would enjoy joining Lego League. This competitive team is about so much more than building with Legos. The team works together to 1) design, build and program a robot to perform missions (such as pushing objects into place, hitting levers to make objects move etc.), and 2) create an innovative solution for a real-world problem involving this year's challenge: Into Orbit.
If your student is entering 7th or 8th grade and is interested in finding out more about the Lego League, contact Coach Renata Harland. We have enough robots to have multiple teams, so if there are any 4th through 6th grade parents who are interested in coaching a team, please also contact Renata.
To see past robot competitions, search Lego League Animal Allies or Lego League Hydrodynamics on YouTube.
