Students in grades K-8 visit the library weekly.
The objective in Library class is to instill an appreciation and love of reading for enjoyment.
A book is read aloud to each class in grades K-5, which increases student reading fluency and through discussions helps develop critical thinking skills and building vocabulary.
In grades 6-8, media is incorporated into library. Students learn to research and cite works of different resources and authors.
