Saint James is a Middle States accredited Catholic Elementary School in the Diocese of Erie, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1957 by Msgr. Francis P. Coughlin and the Sisters of the Divine Spirit. Throughout our 50+ years of education, we have been a model of educational excellence, providing a well-rounded curriculum to children from preschool through the eighth grade. Although the message from the pastor, the parent testimonials, and the students’ outstanding performance on standardized testing offers persuasive evidence that Saint James School will provide the best environment to empower your children to thrive, maybe the most important endorsement of our school comes from the students themselves. The seventh-grade classes wrote and produced this video that won first place in the Channel 12 How Cool Is Your School Contest. After viewing the video and coming to understand how the “We Care” philosophy permeates all aspects of the school day, you will be convinced that being part of the Saint James School Family is the best choice for your children. St. James School is currently accepting registrations for the 2018 – 2019 school year. Whether you have children ready for 3 or 4-year-old preschool, kindergarten, or for grades 1 – 8, we are ready to welcome them into the St. James School Family. For enrollment information, to arrange a tour, or to schedule a shadow visit, contact the school (899-3429) or parish office (899-6178). “We Care” about your children’s education!
