Along with the winter sports programs listed below, Saint George School also has a bowling team and a ski club.


The Saint George School boys' basketball program has a junior varsity and varsity team and is open to students in grades 5-8. JV is made up of 5th and 6th-grade students. Varsity is made up of 7th and 8th graders. Both teams play a winter schedule Nov. - March.

The Saint George School girls' varsity team is made up of 7th and 8th graders and the season runs November –February.

Saint George School offers basketball cheerleading in the winter. 



The Saint George School boys and girls swim team is open to students in grades 1-8. The swimming season begins in November and runs through the end of January or early February. The swim team is open to Saint George students as well as religious education students.

Saint George School has a wrestling team open to students in grades 1-8.  The Saint George Lancers have a long history of producing the greatest wrestlers in the Erie Diocese. Many wrestlers have won the state title at Saint George and many more have gone on to accomplish great things in high school and college.

The Saint George Lancers Wrestling Team is inviting all boys of Saint George School & Parish to join our program. If you have never wrestled before, our staff has the tools necessary to get you off to a great start. Wrestling is instrumental in developing the skills necessary to compete in a wide variety of sports. Confidence, poise, and discipline are traits that make wrestlers successful on and off the mat. Saint George Wrestling program is Christian based, to ensure that your son will be strong in spirit, mind, and body.
