All applicants, including Youth Employees, must complete the following:

  1. Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance
  2. Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
  3. FBI Criminal History Report (fingerprints)
  4. Act 24 Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form
  5. Act 168 Employment History Form (for current employer; also for any previous location where you have worked having direct contact with children)
  6. Pennsylvania Mandated Reporter Training (online)
  7. School Personnel Health Record

All adult applicants must also complete the following:

  1. Diocesan Mandated Reporter Compliance Form
  2. Diocesan Intent for Compliance (after reading the Policy referenced above)
  3. Diocesan Creating a Safe Environment Inservice (online)​​​​​​
  4. Recommendation Form

All Youth Employees (and their parents or guardians) must submit:

  1. Minor conduct form ​​​​​​
  2. Copy of their Work permit, as obtained from their home school district

Erie Catholic School System is fortunate to have wonderful youth work for us. Due to specific regulations, we are only able to employ youth who are 16 or 17 years of age.
