Mrs. Wagner attended St. John School, Erie and is a graduate of the class of 1975. She attended St. Benedict Academy School and was in the class of 1979. For college she is a graduate from Mercyhurst University in 1999 with a degree in Elementary Education. She also taught 1st and 5th grades and Science and Religion to grades 6, 7 and 8 at St. John the Baptist for twelve years. When St. John-Holy Rosary closed in 2011 she went to Erie RISE Leadership Academy where she gained four years of experience in educational administrative positions as a Title I Teacher/Facilitator and Curriculum and Teacher/ Facilitator.
She earned a Master of Educational Leadership from Edinboro University in 2014 and currently completing her coursework towards principal certification (K-12). Jane and her husband, Kevin are the proud parents of four daughters who all are in the educational field. Her mother, Mrs. Fuhrmann was also a long-time teacher also at St. John's. Her greatest strengths include: collaborative leadership, strategic planning, empowering educators to develop their leadership and instructional skills. She fosters strong working relationships and open communication with school families and local and school communities to promote a shared vision of educational excellence.
As a Catholic educator she believes the greatest gifts we can model for our students are our faith in Jesus Christ and a life-long love for learning. Catholic education has been an important tradition in her family for five generations. Teaching in a Catholic School is not just a career for her, it is a vocation.
Her twelve years experience in hands-on-teaching in Catholic Schools and the past four years experience in educational administrative positions along with her educational studies over the years have prepared her well to be our educational leader at Blessed Sacrament. We welcome her to Blessed Sacrament School. Mrs. Jane Wagner can now proudly wear the black and gold for the Bulldogs after years of loyalty to the St. John – Knights. Her enthusiasm and love for learning and students will make our school a happy place for our students to learn and grow as future leaders in our community and our world.

Mrs. Landahl is a graduate of Gannon University with degrees in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She has been teaching in the preschool program at Blessed Sacrament for the past six years. Prior to her employment at BSS, Mrs. Landahl taught for eight years in a multi-age preschool classroom. Mrs. Landahl is an alumni of Blessed Sacrament School. She and her husband have three daughters, two who currently attend BSS and one who is a recent graduate.

Mrs. Carvelli has been a teacher for the past ten years, teaching third grade and Preschool. She and her husband have been married for 23 years and are the parents of two sons who are both attending college. Mrs. Carvelli enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family. She is very happy to be here at Blessed Sacrament and is looking forward to a fun year.
Kate Kapp has 22 years of teaching experience, the last 18 of which have been at Blessed Sacrament School. She has a BS in Early Childhood/ Elementary Education from Villa Maria College and Gannon University. She taught 2nd grade for 7 years and Kindergarten for the past 11 years. She has been the School Coordinator for the DIBEL reading fluency test for the past several years. Kate is married and the mother of two daughters, Lauren, whom attended Blessed Sacrament, and Meghan who currently attends Blessed Sacrament School.
Miss Schneider graduated from Slippery Rock University with her BS in early childhood/special education. This is her first year of teaching. She is a parishioner at Holy Cross Church in Fairview as well as a Eucharistic Minister and a trainer for new alter servers. Before coming to Blessed Sacrament she was a face painter and airbrush tattoo artist at Waldameer. She has been engaged since 2014 and enjoys painting, being outdoors, and spending time with her cats.
I am honored to be one of the second grade teachers here at Blessed Sacrament for the past seven years. Previously I taught fourth and fifth grades for 10 years at Saint Stanislaus School. My family belongs to Blessed Sacrament Parish and we are involved in various ministries in the parish, including being lectors, Eucharistic minister and altar servers. My oldest son is a graduate of Blessed Sacrament and my two other children currently attend school here.
I graduated from Villa Maria College with a BA in Elementary Education. I have been teaching in the Erie Diocese for 36 years. I have been teaching at Blessed Sacrament School since 1990.
Mrs. Boxer teaches third graders and has enjoyed teaching for over 35 years. She is married to Kevin and her daughters are Alyssa and Amy. She likes reading mysteries, singing at church, camping at Cook Forest, and walking at the beach. She believes the "best" things in life are not things.
I have been a Sister of St. Joseph for 22 years. I have been a Fourth Grade Teacher at Blessed Sacrament School for 18 years. I like to read, go for walks, spend time with my family, and watch football.
This is Miss Jurewicz?s second year at Blessed Sacrament and first year teaching 5th and 6th grade Reading. Miss Jurewicz was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. She attended St. Andrew?s School for K-8, Collegiate Academy for High School, Thiel College for her BA in Elementary Education, and Edinboro University for her MA in Reading, with a Reading Specialist certification. Miss Jurewicz loves to ride her bike, go to the Peninsula, take pictures, draw, bake cookies, and play with her fat cat, Sebastian.
This is Mrs. Pfister's first year teaching at Blessed Sacrament and her 5th year in the diocese. She received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Mercyhurst University and is graduating this December with her Master's degree as a Reading Specialist from Edinboro University. Mrs. Pfister enjoys reading, baking, movies, staying active, and spending time with her husband Jim and two daughters Cassidy & Caelyn.
Mr. Rexford was in retail management while studying history and art history at Edinboro University. He then graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in History and a Minor in Art History. He furthered his education and received his teaching certification in Secondary Education Social Studies from Mercyhurst College. Mr. Rexford taught Social Studies and Computer at Holy Family School for 15 years. This is his first year at Blessed Sacrament School teaching Social Studies for grades six through eight. Mr. Rexford is a historical reenactor for the French and Indian War and Revolutionary War. He likes to work in his garden, watch movies, and is an avid Star Wars fan. May the force be with you!
Mrs. Kunik received a BS in Psychology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. She immediately went on to receive a Master's of Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania the following year. Mrs. Kunik continued her education for two years and earned a Certification in School Psychology. She then worked as a contracted School Psychologist for Harborcreek School District until deciding to stay home with her small children. She has been blessed to work at Blessed Sacrament for the last ten years. Mrs. Kunik is very excited to share her love of Math with the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Blessed Sacrament School.
I graduated from Gannon University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. After graduating from college, I worked in several laboratories as a laboratory technician/microbiologist for companies including Microbac, International Paper, The Electric Materials Company and Bay Valley Foods. After working as a lab technician for 15 years, I decided to change my career and begin teaching. I have been teaching at Blessed Sacrament School for 7 years.
Rose Ann Gutting received her BA in Elementary Education from Villa Maria College. She earned her Masters of Elementary Education from Edinboro University. Her interest in Computers has motivated her to take additional courses in teaching Computers in the classroom. Mrs. Gutting has taught for over 25 years in the Diocese. Before coming to Blessed Sacrament School 11 years ago, she taught at Sacred Heart and Our Lady of Peace. Mrs. Gutting is married and has 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
I taught Junior High Language Arts at Our Lady of Peace School for thirty-nine years. I am a graduate of Blessed Sacrament School.
Mrs. Lynch has over thirty years experience as a Guidance Counselor. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling, a Master's Degree in Education, and is certified as an Elementary Counselor, Secondary Counselor, Vocational Counselor and in Secondary Administration. She also was honored as Pennsylvania Middle School Counselor of the Year. Lisa Hauser received her Master�s Degree in Education from Kent State University. She is a certified reading specialist and helped to start two title one reading programs in Ohio. Mrs. Hauser taught at OLP last year and is pleased to be the new resource teacher at Blessed Sacrament. In addition she has taught 2nd through 6th grade and has 20 years of teaching experience. She resides in Fairview with her husband who is a finance professor at Gannon University.
